I am especially interested in spatial models applied to infectious
diseases. Currently I am modelling the relation of Penicillin Resistent
Pneumococci (PRP) to antibiotic use in the Skåne province
of Sweden. This is part of the EU-financed program PREVIS.
Anther interesting project is the case-control study of day-care centers,
where we investigate the effect of using antibacterial soap versus normal
soap and determine if this reduces disease among the children. This study
is financed by STRAMA.
