S-gem (Stockholm Group for Epidemic Modeling) is a multidisciplinary network of researchers with an interest in the development of epidemic modeling and epidemiolgy in general, each with their own background and field of expertise, from statistics to sociology. Within S-Gem, the members find support and partners for collaboration in successfull projects and widely distributed articles. Each year S-gem hosts several seminars and workshops on various topics, usually with international guests. More about S-GEM.

New grant from FAS
S-gem is happy to announce its continued operations, thanks to a new grant from FAS over the next 3 years.
19 June
S-gem proudly anounces a PNAS publication. Birgitte Freiesleben de Blasio, Åke Svensson and Fredrik Liljeros have been accepted with the paper Preferential attachment in sexual networks. It is available online ahead of print, open access.
The members are senior,
post doc and junior scientists, located at Karolinska Insitutet,
Kungliga Tekniska Högskolan, Stockholms University and The Swedish Institute for Infectious Disease Control. S-GEM
